What is the path to salvation that God Himself revealed to us? According to the Bible, the path to salvation is the New Covenant. It is prophesied that the New Covenant is to be established by God Himself Who is to come as the spiritual David. The prophet Ezekiel spoke hundreds of years after the death of David, the king of Israel, as follows.
[Jeremiah 31:31-33] “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah....“I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
[Ezekiel 37:25-27] They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.
[Ezekiel 34:9-15, 23~24] therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them..... I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land....I will tend them in a good pasture,...There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord....I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd. I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the Lord have spoken.
[Hosea 3:5] Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.
