The Faith of Abraham and the Saints of the Last Days

This summer has been exceptionally hot. I heard on the news today that the severe heatwave has caused many people exposed to intense sunlight to suffer from skin conditions, lose sleep, and even seek medical treatment. Because of the drought, potatoes and corn that had not yet been harvested have been left to ripen and burn in the fields, and even mosquitoes have become difficult to find because the extreme heat has made it difficult for them to remain active.

In this kind of heat, we naturally prefer staying indoors in cool places and find ourselves wishing for this long summer to finally pass. In this world, we are affected by the seasons and our surrounding environment, but the Heaven God has promised us has no suffering or pain.

Father Ahnsahnghong has prepared the glorious Heaven where there is neither heat nor cold and leads us there.

The Book of Revelation describes the heaven God has prepared for us:

Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Unlike this world, where we experience heat and cold, illness and suffering, sorrow and tears, there will be no more pain or tears in the heaven God has prepared for us. The heaven to which Father Ahnsahnghong leads us is the glorious and beautiful place beyond anything we could ever imagine in this world.

The Apostle Paul also wrote:

1 Corinthians 2:9 “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived—the things God has prepared for those who love him.”

The Heaven God has prepared for us is truly a glorious and beautiful place beyond anything we can imagine—a place that cannot even be compared with this world.

• Then, Where Is the Way to Heaven?

If there is a glorious Heaven where there is neither heat nor cold, and where joy and happiness continue without suffering or pain, then where is the way to get there?

The Bible prophesied that Christ would appear a second time for our salvation:

Hebrews 9:28 “He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”

The Book of Micah also prophesied that, in the last days, the nations would come to Zion to learn God's teachings:

Micah 4:1–3 “In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem."

According to these prophecies, Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Christ, came to this earth and personally taught us the way of salvation that leads to heaven.

• The Way to Heaven Restored by Father Ahnsahnghong: The Passover of the New Covenant

Father Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover of the New Covenant, which Jesus established so that we could receive the blessings of eternal life and the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus said in John 6:53–54:

“Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life…”

Then, in Matthew 26:26–28, Jesus established the New Covenant at the Passover, referring to the bread as His flesh and the wine as His blood.

Through the Passover, Jesus promised that the bread would represent His flesh and the wine His blood, granting the blessing of eternal life to those who participate in the Passover bread and wine.

Therefore, by keeping the New Covenant Passover, we can receive the promise of eternal life from God and move toward the eternal and glorious heaven He has prepared for us.

• God Who Restored the Truth of the Passover That Had Disappeared

However, in A.D. 325, the New Covenant Passover was abolished through the Council of Nicaea. Afterward, those who kept the Passover were even regarded as heretics, which was a deeply unfortunate development.

Nevertheless, believers who continued to trust in God's promise fled to mountains and deserts in order to keep the Passover. Eventually, however, the truth of the Passover of the New Covenant disappeared from history.

The way to eternal life and the way to Heaven are not paths that human beings can create. Only God, the owner of the Kingdom of Heaven, can open the way.

That is why the grace of Father Ahnsahnghong, who came to this earth to restore the Passover of the New Covenant and reopen the way to heaven, is a precious grace that cannot be compared with anything else.

• Father’s Sacrifice to Open the Way to Heaven

When I think about the path Father Ahnsahnghong walked in order to open this way for us, my heart becomes heavy, and I feel deeply sorry.

He left behind His glorious heavenly throne and came to this earth in the flesh, walking a path of sacrifice, suffering, and hardship that words cannot fully express—hardship that sinners should have endured themselves.

Because Father Ahnsahnghong walked that thorny path in our place, we can simply follow the path He opened for us and eventually enter our beautiful and glorious heavenly home.

• My Gratitude to Father

Then, how could I ever repay such grace?

When I think of the grace and love Father has given us, I want to give thanks and praise Him a thousand times, even ten thousand times.

During these difficult days of extreme heat, I find myself thinking once again about Father’s grace and imagining the glorious Heaven where all suffering will be gone.

The heat we are experiencing now will eventually pass. But the way to eternal life, the way of the Passover, and the way of salvation leading to heaven that Father Ahnsahnghong opened for us remain as an eternal hope before us.

I sincerely hope that all people will walk together on this way to Heaven that Father has opened for us and, in the end, enter together into our glorious heavenly Home, where there is no pain or sorrow, but only happiness and joy.

[Hos 3:5] Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.

Abraham’s Family and God the Mother

The Bible records the history of Abraham’s family in great detail. However, Abraham’s family history is more than simply the story of one family. It contains an important prophetic meaning concerning God’s family and the children who will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

Through Abraham’s family, the Bible teaches us who receives God’s promise and who is ultimately chosen to inherit the inheritance.

1. Whom Does Abraham Represent?

In the Bible, Abraham’s family is used to illustrate God’s spiritual family.

The Apostle Paul wrote:

“So you are the real children of Abraham.” — Galatians 3:7

Those who have faith in God are described as Abraham’s children. Therefore, Abraham’s family can be understood as a representation of God’s family.

If this is the case, we should carefully examine who was chosen to inherit Abraham’s estate.

2. Three Potential Heirs in Abraham’s Family

There were three potential heirs in Abraham’s household.

The first was Eliezer, Abraham’s servant.

At one point, Abraham believed that his servant Eliezer might become his heir. However, God made it clear that Eliezer would not inherit Abraham’s estate.

God said:

“No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own who will be your heir.” — Genesis 15:4

God did not choose someone simply because he belonged to Abraham’s household. The heir had to be the son whom God had promised.

The second potential heir was Ishmael.

Because Sarah was unable to have children at that time, Abraham had a son through Hagar, Sarah’s maidservant.

“Abram’s wife, Sarai, took her servant, Hagar, and gave her to Abram as a wife.” — Genesis 16:3

Hagar eventually gave birth to Ishmael.

From a human perspective, Ishmael seemed to be a natural candidate for Abraham’s inheritance because he was Abraham’s son.

However, God did not choose Ishmael as the son of the covenant.

God told Abraham:

“No, Sarah your wife will have a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will make my covenant with him.” — Genesis 17:19

Ultimately, God chose Isaac as Abraham’s heir.

3. What Was the Difference Between Isaac and Ishmael?

Here we find an important point.

Both Ishmael and Isaac were sons of Abraham.

So why did God choose Isaac rather than Ishmael?

One significant difference was their mothers.

Ishmael’s mother was Hagar, a servant.

Isaac’s mother was Sarah, a free woman.

The Apostle Paul explains the spiritual meaning of these two women in Galatians chapter 4.

He wrote:

“But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.” — Galatians 4:26

Paul connects the free woman with the Jerusalem above and calls her “our mother.”

He then explains:

“And you, dear brothers and sisters, are children of the promise, just like Isaac.” — Galatians 4:28

Isaac was the child of promise through Sarah.

Likewise, believers are described as children of promise, just like Isaac.

4. Sarah and the Jerusalem Above

One of the most important expressions in Galatians chapter 4 is “our mother.”

Paul contrasts the earthly Jerusalem with the Jerusalem above and says that the Jerusalem above is our mother.

This raises an important question:

Does God have only a Father, or does the Bible also testify about a Mother?

The Bible clearly teaches that God’s people are God’s children. And when Paul explains the identity of God’s children, he does not speak only about a Father. He also speaks about “our mother.”

Paul writes:

“But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.” — Galatians 4:26

This is significant because the Bible uses the language of a family when describing God’s children.

5. God’s Family Includes a Father and a Mother

When we think of a family, we naturally think of a father, a mother, and children.

In the same way, Abraham’s family provides a prophetic picture of God’s family:

• Abraham → represents the father
• Sarah → represents the mother
• Isaac → represents the children of promise

From this perspective, Abraham’s family history is not merely an account of events that happened thousands of years ago. It can be understood as a prophetic illustration of God’s plan of salvation and the identity of God’s children.

In particular, Galatians 4:26 tells us that the Jerusalem above is “our mother.”

Therefore, if we want to fully understand the family of God described in the Bible, we should carefully examine not only the biblical teaching about God the Father but also the biblical teaching concerning God the Mother.

6. Who Are the Children of Promise?

Not everyone in Abraham’s household became his heir.

Eliezer was not chosen.

Ishmael was Abraham’s son, but he was not chosen as the son of the covenant.

Instead, God chose Isaac, the son born through Sarah, as the heir of the promise.

The Apostle Paul then tells believers:

“You are children of the promise, just like Isaac.” — Galatians 4:28

This teaches us that God’s children are not determined merely by physical descent. They are connected to God’s promise.

Therefore, if we desire to become children of God and receive the promise of the Kingdom of Heaven, we should carefully examine everything the Bible teaches about God’s promise and God’s family.

In particular, the words in Galatians chapter 4 concerning “the Jerusalem above” and “our mother” deserve our careful attention.

Conclusion

Abraham’s family contained several potential heirs, including Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac. Yet God ultimately chose Isaac, the son born through Sarah, as the heir of the promise.

The Apostle Paul explains that Isaac represents the children of promise, and he also identifies the Jerusalem above as “our mother.”

Therefore, Abraham’s family history can teach us an important lesson about God’s salvation plan and the identity of God’s children.

If we truly desire to become children of God and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, we should carefully study the Word of God and examine what the Bible teaches about the Jerusalem above, our Mother.

If you fully obey the LORD your God whom I give you today and carefully keep all His commands, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.   [Jeremiah 16:10-11] “When you tell all these things to the people, and they ask, ‘Why has the LORD brought such a great plague upon us? What have we done wrong? Preparing for the Last Trumpet

[Job 26:7] He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.

[Ezr 1:1~3] This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. [Isa 45:1~3, 13] This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: I will go before you and will level the mountains; I wil break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.. I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness: I will make all his ways straight. He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, but not for a price or reward, says the LORD Almighty.

[Rev 21:1, 4] Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea...He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

[Lk24:27] And begiinning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself[Jesus].

[Ac 17:2~3] As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he seasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving theat the Christ had to Suffer and rise from the dead. "This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ," he said.

#1. They did not know the Bible [Jn 5:46~47] If you believe Moses, you would believe me, fo he wrote about me. But since you do not belive what he wrote, how are you going to belive what I say? They believed the Bible just literally, and did not believe that the words of the Bible were being fulfilled in reality. They did not belive the Bible. The reason that religious leaders of today do not believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong is the same; They do not believe the Bible. #2. They did not know God The religious leaders made no effort to understand God whom the Bible testifies about. It is not difficult for God Almighty to appear as a man. However, they just said that God is almighty only with their mouths, but they denied God's coming in the flesh. Today, too, many false churches persecute us. It's because they don't know God who is almighty.

"They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven..." (Hebrews 8:5, NIV)
