The Problem of Sacrifice and the Worship of God
Children who believe in God are faced with the problem of sacrifice and idol offerings. What should we do as children of God in this situation? God clearly tells us that there is no god but Him, and that we should not offer sacrifices to that god or eat food offered to idols.
What we must do is that only God is responsible for our salvation. Let us become children who follow God's will.
1 Corinthians 8:1-7
Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. For though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth—as if there were many gods and many lords—for to us there is but one God, the Father, and this knowledge is not in every man: for some, being accustomed to the idol until now, eat things that are sacrificed to idols, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
1 Corinthians 10:19-23
What then am I saying? What is a thing sacrificed to an idol? And what is an idol?
For the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and the table of demons.
Do we then provoke the Lord to anger? For we are stronger than he. All things are lawful, but not all things are beneficial. All things are lawful, but not all things edify.
Satan prevents us from believing in God and hinders us from being saved.
Let us become the people of God who have the spiritual wisdom to distinguish idols
with the faith to keep God's ordinances perfectly.
God also said that we should not worship idols as part of the Ten Commandments. Serving God instead of anything made by hands in every shape is idolatry. I hope you will receive great blessings by serving only the true God.
We should understand the spiritual world. To avoid idolatry, we must keep the Passover of the New Covenant.
Man-Made Rituals is a clear idolatry. We should only worship God, not follow it.
It is not enough to love and worship God with all our hearts, souls, and minds. We don't have to make idols and devote our hearts to them. Only if you love God.
Anything that serves anything other than God is idolatry. Let us act according to the Bible and God's will.
When it comes to faith in God, the thing we have to fear most is worshiping something other than God.
As prophesied by the prophet Ezekiel, just as the Old Testament Israelites left God behind in God's temple and worshiped the sun god, many Christians today worship gods other than God. God's children must stay away from idols other than God. be blessed
Eating food sacrificed to idols causes demons to enter our bodies and make us turn away from God.
I thank God for not allowing me to participate in idol-sacrifice.
Amen. It is God that saves mankind and grants the blessings of salvation to them. If people repay other gods for that grace, think about how God must be feeling. We shouldn't serve idols or eat food sacrificed to them. Rather, keeping the commandments of God pleases God the most. Let's obey the teachings of the Bible so that we can repay Elohim God for Their love and grace!
