Visible and Invisible
In 1867, Russia, struggling with financial difficulties, sold Alaska to the United States for $7.2 million. People thought Alaska, which was frozen all year round, was useless land. The Russian people supported the sale of Alaska, and the American people criticized Secretary of State William Seward, who bought the land. However, Alaska was a land of treasures with gold mines, natural gas, crude oil, and various underground resources, and its value was truly infinite, not only in its territory but also in its airspace and territorial waters. After that, the United States accumulated enormous wealth, and Russia, which sold Alaska for such a low price, regretted it.
Is it a bronze serpent or the word of God? _The Israelites
While walking in the wilderness, the Israelites often complained against God and their leader Moses. When the king of Edom blocked their way and they had to return on a long journey just before Canaan, the people complained.
“Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in this wilderness? There is no food and no water to drink.”
God sent fiery serpents to bite the people. When many people died, the people realized their mistake and begged for help. God told Moses how they could live.
“Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole. Everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, will live.”
Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. Indeed, everyone who was bitten by a fiery serpent and looked at the bronze serpent lived.
800 years later, King Hezekiah destroyed and destroyed all the idols in order to purify the temple. Among them was the bronze serpent that Moses had made (2 Kings 18:4). The people of Israel forgot the power of God's word, "If you look at the bronze snake, you will live," and they worshiped the bronze snake that they saw for a long time. _Numbers 21:4-9
Could the bronze snake that was visible have saved the Israelites? No. They were saved by the invisible power of God’s words.
In the world we live in, there are times when we chase after the visible reality and forget God.
However, God said that He fills the entire universe.
We should not settle for the visible reality, but strive to know God who gives us the invisible blessings.
I will be a child who thinks of the big Heaven even though I can't see it.
We must recognize God Ahnsahnghong and Mother God of the New Jerusalem who give us eternal life, just like the vision of the Secretary of State who bought Alaska.
Those who seek blessings from heaven should follow teachings of God.
the angelic world is invisible world. but there clearly exists. the angelic world is our spiritual hometown as Heaven. we must go back there. while living in this world, we have to find the way of eternal life and true Saviors as God the Father and Mother. I hope all mankind have a hope for heaven in WMSCOG.
We live visible world but invisible world is wider than that.
We must think about beyond world.
There is The kingdom of heaven even if it is invisible. Jesus who came from explained the Heaven and hell. Also we have spiritual parents, God the Father and God the Mother
Wow! This is enlightening. Right. Salvation cannot be found in visible things such as the bronze snake and the cross. As God taught us, His providence of redemption is being done in the invisible world. In other words, God leads the world by His words and the whole universe follows and obeys the words of God. When we listen to His words, things will turn out great within God's will.
