Why Christians keep Sunday service? Not only believers but also unbelievers think that worship day is Sunday. And they consider it as a common sense. However, is it biblical truth? We have to think about it through the Bible. Because God said that only those who keep the will of God will enter the Kingdom of heaven. When you study the Bible, you can see the Sabbath as worship day. The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week, and it's Saturday. We have to worship God on Saturday, not on Sunday. Sunday service is not for God, but for sun-god. Let's worship God the Creator by keeping the Sabbath in World Mission Society Church of God and receive eternal blessings.
In the Old Testament, Jehovah's Day was the Sabbath, and in the New Testament, Jesus' Day is also the Sabbath.
Therefore, the claim that Sunday is the Lord's Day and that we must observe Sunday worship is a false claim.
The Church of God worships on the Lord's Day, the Sabbath (Saturday), according to the teachings of the Bible. There is no evidence anywhere that the early church observed Sunday worship.
The Sabbath day of the Bible is Saturday, not Sunday.
If you know this fact, what should you do?
You can go to heaven by worshiping on the Sabbath Saturday without adding or subtracting from the word of God.
You should not turn away from the truth of the Bible just because it is different from what you think and the day of worship you have kept so far.
If you believe in God by reading the Bible, worshiping on the day that God promised to bless is true faith.
The Church of God is the only place in the world that keeps the Sabbath day that Jesus and the apostles kept.
Mark 7:5 "The Pharisees and the scribes...
And he said to them, 'Isaiah was right in prophesying about you hypocrites, as it is written: 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.'... You have let go of the commandments of God and are holding to the traditions of men.
He also said to them, 'You have well set aside the commandments of God in order to keep your traditions.'"
This is a rebuke to the Pharisees, saying that they believe in God through the commandments of men and are worshipping in vain. A Pharisee is someone who forsakes the commandments of God and keeps the commandments of men. If Jeroboam in the Old Testament is a synonym for sin, then in the New Testament he is a Pharisee.
The Pharisees are forsaking the commandments of God and keeping the commandments of men, and the people of the Church of God are people who forsake the commandments of men and keep the commandments of God.
The 66 books of the Bible were written by God for our salvation, and at the end of the Book of Revelation, which is the last part of the entire Bible, God commanded that no one should add to or subtract from the words of the Bible.
The fact that God wrote this in the Bible means that no part of the Bible can be taken lightly.
The members of the Church of God who treasure the Word of God have various things within the category of the New Covenant, such as the Passover, the Sabbath, the feasts, the veil ordinance, and baptism, but among them, the Sabbath was established at the time of creation, and Jesus kept it, and the apostles also kept it.
God's commandments have meaning and blessings that we must remember.
That is why the members of the Church of God today cherish the Sabbath, which must never be forgotten until the end of the world.
The members of the Church of God keep the New Covenant Sabbath because they are God's people.
You do not become God's people just by saying, "Lord! Lord!" and believing.
You must have faith that God acknowledges.
The Sabbath day is teh seventh day of the week.
Since Sunday is the first day of the week, it can never be the Sabbath Day.
God's people must obey the commands of God. Jesus said, "My sheep listens to my voice." This is completely true. Those who say that they love God without keeping the commands of God are just liars. If we truly love God, we should keep the commands of God.
