God gave us commands for our own God. The Sabbath day contains God's promise of eternal rest in heaven. On the Sabbath day God creates us to be holy. In that way we can enter heaven. And On the day of the Passover, God promises eternal life and forgiveness of sins. By keeping these days we can receive the promise God allows on those days.
