Keeping the Sabbath Day is God’s Will

God’s people listen to the words of God. To remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy is God’s words and commandment. On the other hand, Sunday service never originated from God. No matter how one keeps the Sunday service wholeheartedly, he or she will not be able to receive blessings from God. Without God’s blessings, how will we be able to receive salvation? This is why Jesus warns that only those who do the will of God can enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

According to the words of Jesus, the way to be saved is to do the will of God. By God’s word, God gave His promise of blessings through the Sabbath day. Therefore, let’s do the will of God by keeping the Sabbath day holy, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven.

The reason Jesus and the apostles kept the Sabbath was because it was God's will (Luke 4:16, Acts 17:2).
If we study the history of the church, we can see that Sunday worship is a man-made commandment.

This message beautifully highlights the importance of obeying God’s commandments, especially keeping the Sabbath holy. True salvation is found in following God’s will, not just in words, but in actions.

To keep the Sabbath is God's will.
The Biblical Sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday.
That's why the WMSCOG keeps the Sabbath day, as God teaches.
