The 8954th Worldwide Cleanup Campaign led by the Church of God took place on Sunday 7 September on Mooki Street in Orlando East Soweto Johannesburg. More than twenty volunteers filled over 120 bags of litter cleaning an illegal dumping site in full view of students workers and residents. Their effort around two primary and two high schools reflects the concern for future generations and the heart of service that shines through.
This campaign beautifully demonstrates the continuous concern and love of God the Mother who always embraces all people with care. Inspired by the teachings of Father Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother the members do not serve from duty but from the love that flows from Heavenly Parents. Through such activities the Church of God shows that true faith is practiced in action by protecting the environment uplifting neighbors and offering hope to society.
