Many people believe in God.
Then, what is the purpose of our faith?
1Pe 1:9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
The purpose of our faith is to receive salvation—that is, receiving eternal life.
Then, how can we receive eternal life?
Jn 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
The way to receive eternal life is to eat Jesus' flesh and drink His blood.
How can we eat and drink His flesh and blood?
Mt 26:19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
Mt 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread ... "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took a cup [wine], ... This is my blood of the covenant, ...
Eating the Passover bread and drinking the wine means eating Jesus' flesh and drinking His blood.
Therefore, those who keep the Passover can receive eternal life.
