Some people say that the specific day of worship does not matter as long as we believe in God sincerely. However, the Bible shows that God Himself set apart a specific day and made it holy. If God distinguished a particular day from all others, there must be a reason for His command. As members of the World Mission Society Church of God, we believe that understanding God's appointed day begins with studying the Bible carefully.

The Bible teaches that God blessed and sanctified the seventh day from the beginning. Later, the Sabbath was included in the Ten Commandments and given to God's people. Jesus kept the Sabbath and taught on that day, and the apostles continued to observe it after His ascension. When we examine the Bible, we find no command that changes the Sabbath to Sunday. Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the truth of the New Covenant Sabbath so that people today can follow the example of Jesus and the early Church.

God's commandments were given for our spiritual benefit and heavenly blessing, not as a burden. The Sabbath remains a precious day through which we can draw closer to God and receive spiritual rest. Through the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, we can more fully understand God's love and the value of obeying Their word. Rather than relying on human traditions, why not open the Bible and discover what the true Sabbath day is according to God's word?

The Sabbath, the seventh day, is God’s commandment. The Church of God keeps the Sabbath holy according to God’s will and receives the abundant blessings He has promised.
