Many people today claim to know God, yet they only worship Him as "God the Father." However, does the Bible limit God's image to being only male? Through the scriptures, we can discover a profound truth that has been overlooked for centuries—the existence of God the Mother.

1. The Earthly Family: A Copy and Shadow of Heaven

The earthly family system—consisting of a father, a mother, and children—is not a random human creation. The Bible explains that physical things are modeled after spiritual realities.
"They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven..." (Hebrews 8:5, NIV)

Just as we have physical fathers and mothers who give us physical life, we must also have a spiritual Father and a spiritual Mother who grant us eternal life. A copy cannot exist without its original reality.

2. The Male and Female Images of God

From the very first chapter of Genesis, God’s plural existence is clearly testified during the creation of mankind.
"Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness...' So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:26-27, NIV)

Why did God say "Let us" and "our image"? And why did both male and female appear when copied after God's image? This is because God exists in both the male image (God the Father) and the female image (God the Mother). In the original Hebrew Bible, God is referred to as "Elohim" (a plural noun meaning "Gods") about 2,500 times, proving God is not a singular being.

3. The Spirit and the Bride Giving the Water of Life

The Apostle Paul explicitly testified to our Heavenly Mother, writing:
"But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother." (Galatians 4:26, NIV)

Ultimately, in the last days, both God the Father and God the Mother appear together to invite all of humanity to receive the free gift of eternal life.
"The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let the one who hears say, 'Come!' ... let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life." (Revelation 22:17, NIV)

The "Spirit" is God the Father, and the "Bride" whom we must find to receive the water of life is our Heavenly Mother.

Returning to the Arms of Heavenly Mother

Just as physical life cannot exist without a mother, spiritual life is impossible without our Heavenly Mother. Let us break free from the fixed concept of worshiping an "unknown God." By believing in both God the Father and God the Mother as testified in the Bible, we can become the true children of promise who will inherit the kingdom of heaven.

There is a commonality between God’s use of the word "we" in Genesis 1:26, the first part of the Bible, and His use of the word "Spirit and Bride" in Revelation 22:17, the last part.
This is to inform the children of heaven that God the Mother exists alongside God the Father.
You must believe in God the Father and God the Mother, as testified by the Bible, to receive the blessing of eternal life.

The Bible clearly testifies to the existence of God the Mother.
Even if it may seem logical to human thinking that only God the Father exists, believing in both God the Father and God the Mother, as taught in the Bible, is the path to salvation.

Wow, this is such a powerful and eye-opening post! The logic of the "copy and shadow" makes it so clear that we must have a Heavenly Mother for our souls to have eternal life. Thank you for sharing these clear biblical proofs from Genesis to Revelation. Truly, spiritual life is impossible without the Bride, our God the Mother. Praise be to Elohim God!

Until now, I thought only God the Father existed. However, looking closely at the Bible, I was able to realize that God the Mother also exists, and I am so deeply grateful.
