It seems that this summer, the whole world has been suffering from more extreme heat than ever before. In such hot weather, even a little movement can quickly make us thirsty, and a refreshing glass of cold water becomes especially welcome. Just as a refreshing glass of water is desperately needed when we are thirsty, no matter how lavish a feast may be before us, our souls also suffer from a spiritual thirst that cannot be satisfied by the beautiful and splendid things of this world.

The Bible records a remarkable prophecy concerning this spiritual thirst.

Amos 8:11 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.”

Then, how can we satisfy the thirst of our souls?

We must seek the source of the water of life. The Bible testifies that only God can give us the water of life. No matter how great a person's faith may be, no one other than God can give us the water of life.

Yet, the Bible gives us a very special message concerning the last days.

Revelation 22:17 “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”

The Bible says that in the last days, the ones who give the water of life are the Spirit and the Bride.

Then, who are the Spirit and the Bride who grant the water of life? If we do not know the answer, our souls can never truly escape spiritual thirst.

According to the truth of the Trinity, the Spirit refers to God the Father. Then who is the Bride, the source of the water of life who grants it together with God the Father?

In Revelation 21:9, the Bride is described as “the wife of the Lamb,” and John is then shown the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down from heaven. The Apostle Paul also testified in Galatians 4:26:

“But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.”

In other words, according to the prophecies of the Bible, in the last days, God the Father, the Spirit, and God the Mother, the Bride, personally came to this earth to grant the water of life to souls suffering from spiritual thirst.

Just as physical thirst is quenched by a refreshing glass of water, our dry and weary souls can receive true comfort and life by drinking the water of life that God grants us. 💧 Especially during this time when people around the world are suffering from the intense summer heat, I am even more reminded of and grateful for the existence of God the Mother, who gives the water of life to our souls.

I give thanks to God the Mother for allowing me to live as Her child today and for continually providing the water of life so that my soul will never become spiritually dry.

I sincerely hope that the many souls who are still trying to satisfy their spiritual thirst with the things of this world will come to God the Mother, the source of the water of life, and receive true life and comfort. 🙏
